MAKEUP KITTY’S LAURA MERCIER ARABESQUE PALETTE SWATCHES
This collection is a perfect embodiment of spring. All of the shades look like beautiful desserts that would surely delight Marie Antoinette. Makeup Kitty was drawn to this palette from the first sight!
Its darker blue shade is slightly grayish, just enough to bring emphasis to the eyes. The lighter blue looks great on the inner side of the upper lid, subtly highlighting it.
Chocolaty and taupe shades work in tandem the same way.
Makeup Kitty’s fave of the bunch was the pale pink confection, simply perfect in its subtle, shimmering, delightful springtime beauty.
These shimmering shadows can be applied wet or dry. Wet application results in a more intense, metallic finish. Gentle colors didn’t fade or crease for hours. Makeup Kitty noticed some fallout during application and through the day, for which one point was deducted from the rating. These lovely shadows should most definitely be applied over a good primer.
